D6

D6 stands for ‘Day 6’ and is a simple model that has extraordinary outcomes.

This Saturday morning learning environment provides students with an opportunity to learn at their own pace, alongside peers. D6 isn’t simply an extension of school it is different – no uniform, no curriculum and breakfast is included!

The sessions, offered to all children in Year 5 and 6, are supervised by fully trained school staff and supported by learning coaches from Year 8 or 9. D6 will take place at Wardle Academy at their D6 Hub for St Andrew’s, St James’ and Kentmere Academy pupils.

If you would like your child to attend D6, please complete the form below to express your interest. Please wait for an email to confirm your child has a place before they attend.

D6 will will mainly follow the school’s holiday pattern – session dates are shared periodically.

Students who regularly attend D6 significantly improve their motivation, metacognition and academic outcomes.

We hope to see you on Saturday morning!
