Year 6 Children Take Part in Mock Trial Competition

This year, we were fortunate enough to secure a place in the annual GM Magistrates’ Association Mock Trial Competition. The topic for this year’s event was ‘Consequences of Knife Crime’. 

After having been very busy preparing for their roles on the defence team, a group of our Year 6 children thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to act out the trial in a real life courtroom! In addition to this, the children were involved in a range of workshops/activities, led by partner agencies from across Greater Manchester.

The children worked beautifully together as a team and demonstrated super confidence throughout this unforgettable learning experience.
