Welcome to Kentmere Academy

Kentmere Academy and Nursery is a pre-school nursery and primary school in Rochdale. We are an Ofsted Outstanding school with above national average performance. Our reputation is excellent in the local area and beyond, with Kentmere Academy and Nursery being an increasingly popular choice. FAB Festival is a new youth arts festival taking place this Saturday (28th March) in Rochdale Town Centre. The event is free to attend and includes a range of cultural events and activities for children and young people. The programme includes:

Theatre performances for early years and teens
Poetry workshops for ages 13+
Teenage Market featuring 20 stalls of products created by local young people.
Gaming and creative activities at Hopwood Hall College
Exhibitions
Film screenings
Circus performances and workshops
Contemporary dance performance
Live music and ‘have a go’ music workshops
Heritage Scavenger Hunt
A carnival parade through the town centre
