"Teaching self-respect, respect for others and respect for the environment."
Uniform at Kentmere Academy plays an important role in our community identity. We encourage our pupils to be proud of their school’s accomplishments and take pride in their appearance as they represent Kentmere within the local area and beyond. All clothing and equipment must be clearly labelled with your child’s name, coats should have a strong loop for hanging. P.E. attire must be brought in a cloth bag with a loop to hang on a peg. Swimming kit is needed in a separate bag.

Children are expected to wear black school shoes and not boots or trainers. Please ensure that all items are clearly marked with your child’s name. No jewellery must be worn in school (this includes earrings), except for wristwatches.
The Academy will consider requested exceptions from the Uniform Policy in relation to religious articles on a case by case basis.
