What does SLE stand for?
SLE stands for Specialist leaders of education, who are outstanding middle and senior leaders with a particular area of expertise and the skills to develop the leadership capacity of colleagues in similar positions in other schools.

Hannah is an experienced KS2 teacher who has worked across the key stage. Over the last 5 years, she has worked as a year 6 teacher leading Key Stage 2 and as the Maths subject leader. Hannah has supported the teaching and learning of mathematics throughout school and most recently she has led CPD and training to embed the mastery approach which has seen significant improvements throughout the school.
As part of the senior management team (Assistant Head), she has driven the school forward from special measures to outstanding in all areas. She is also lead for assessment; confident in analysing data, supporting school action plans and monitoring.

Claire is an experienced teacher with 13 years’ experience. She has worked across all key stages, but her passion lies with EYFS and KS1. Over the last 7 years, she has worked as a Reception class teacher, leading EYFS. She has worked at Kentmere Academy for the past 3 years as EYFS Manager.
She ensures that children at Kentmere Academy are given the best start to their education through outstanding teaching and learning and supports other schools to improve standards within EYFS.

Zoe is currently a year 6 teacher, the Inclusion Manager and the Curriculum Lead at Kentmere Academy and Nursery. She is part of the senior leadership team at Kentmere and has helped the school on its incredible journey from ‘Special Measures’ to ‘Outstanding’ in every area.
She has experience across key stage 2. Zoe has experience in coaching and mentoring staff in making improvements in English and maths lessons. She has also supported staff in ensuring that their curriculum is engaging and holistic.
She is a qualified SENCo and has completed the National Award for Special Educational Needs (Masters Level) at Manchester Metropolitan University. She has experience in improving the quality of provision and outcomes for children with SEND throughout the school.
