We are an Ofsted Outstanding school with a history of success. We encourage you to read our Ofsted Report as it will tell you why we are one of just a few primary schools in Rochdale to be awarded Outstanding, the highest rating that can be achieved. Our academic excellence, a tailored curriculum, pastoral care, and extra-curricular programmes are of the highest quality and are the cornerstones of the school. We value academic success, where every pupil is nurtured and encouraged to achieve their full potential.

We are one of the highest performing primary schools in Rochdale. We are proud of the high success rates that our children gain. We work hard to ensure that every child reaches their full potential in every aspect of life at Kentmere.
Our results in 2019 were amongst the highest in the area. 73% of our pupils meet expected standards in reading, writing, and maths. This is significantly higher than the local authority average of 60% and the national average of 65%.
